“Migration” has been defined as an annual or seasonal pattern related to cyclic variations in temperature, vegetation, or precipitation.

Ducks and other birds routinely leave the north in the winter and migrate south. They seek the warmth of the sub-tropical sun where food is plentiful and they can, at least for a while, escape from the bitter cold.

The Duhks will leave Canada mid-January 2009 and head for Florida. They will arrive in Miami and on January 18, 2009 will board the Norwegian Pearl that will take them and their adoring fans on an amazing week-long journey to the Western Caribbean. The band will entertain their fans throughout the week on the ship.

The most vital acoustic music being made today acknowledges its predecessors and lives in the here and now. For four years now, The Duhks, the band of five skilled, high-energy, twenty-somethings from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been riveting audiences and winning staunch fans across North America and around the world with just that kind of music. Rhythms at Sea Cruises is proud to announce our cruise with The Duhks, January 18th 2009! Even "green duhks" will go on this cruise !!
